Hour of Code

Hour of Code takes place in the library. Jefferson students K-5 tried programming in library classes during the week of Dec 7-11. Students around the country take part in an Hour of Code aprogram started in 2013 to expose young children to programming. The students got to program Minecraft characters using blocky a series of blocks with java script under each block. It starts out simply and gradual increases in complexity. It was really fun and the students loved it!
